We have no specific demographic; everyone is welcome and free to bring all their art forms!

If you have any questions about the club, joining, submissions, or anything in general, note the club, and our mods will get back to you!

If any suggestions are made, or one of the mods has a notice for everyone, this is where it will be. Keep an eye out for it, because we want everyone to give an opinion on it, whatever it may be!

Notes have been organized! Missing members have been added (However, if you’re still missing, let us know!)! Submissions will pick back up this week! Those of you who have been waiting the longest will finally have your day and your work will finally be submitted!

And, as you can see, the journal’s a little different too! Some sections have been reworded and revamped a little and all submission info has been moved here and a link placed at the top of the news section.

~Joining~

Since so many people think it's daft to send notes, it's your choice: You can either leave a comment on the front page asking to join, or send the club a note entitled “Joining” to be added to the member list! Whichever way you choose, make sure to +watch us.

Please take note that...

We recommend that you add ~Deviant-Critiques to your watchlist. Please, don't wait for us to add you first; we'll add you after you add us.
If you send the club a note, there is a 100% guarantee that we will add you to the member list, while a comment you make on the front page may be missed. So it’s your choice! Just don’t get mad at us because we missed a comment.
If you made a comment to the front page asking to join and never received a reply, or you have yet to see your icon in the member list, please either comment or send the club a note (entitled “Joining” ) asking again. We don’t mean to overlook you, but please let us know if we do!
We ask that you please be polite. Ask, don't assume, that we'll let you join (unless your English is poor, then you're excused). There's very little chance that we won't let you join the club, but it will make sure that we don't get off on the wrong foot. ;D

~General Club Guidelines~

DO NOT FAVE ANYTHING THE CLUB SUBMITS! EVER!
Be polite when you request things from the club mods. This means saying please and sometimes even thank you. Being rude begets being rude.
Be polite to other members and when making your critiques. You’re free to be blunt, but there should be no need for outright insults.
If someone has been gracious enough to take the time to critique your work, be gracious back. Even if you don't like what they have to say about your masterpiece, critique is critique, and unfortunately not all of it will be sunshine and roses.
If someone is being unnecessarily rude to you, ignore them. Blunt critique is one thing, insults are another. However, be sure to know the difference.
If you want to help someone with their submission by redlining it, you don't have to submit it to the club. Just note the artist, or comment on their piece with a link to the picture (ie, saving the redline to your gallery as a scrap, or to an image host like Photobucket).
